Symbiotic Indexing is the underlying concept at the heart of Folding Space technology. It answers one of the greatest daily challenges all IT users face: how to find and retrieve any of the huge variety of folders, files, programs, documents, emails, images and database records across the network.

Then there's the technology windfall. We can do this without the need for a central server, or database license. There is no extraction, re-formatting or conversion of documents or data, and our products work with original folders, files, documents, programs, database records, emails, images and scans.

Search efficiency
Unlike traditional 'search' technology, we don't clog the network by attempting to spider documents, pages and data - and remember we don't add to the cost by storing all this information on an expensive database. Instead, symbiotic indexing operates by activating symbiotes on every server and PC that needs to be involved in the process via distributed computing.
This process operates simultaneously across a network irrespective of its size or multi-location within every data processing device connected to that network.
